The public is invited to honor the fallen during a Memorial Day Program at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance on Monday
Nebraska National Guard Adjutant General Major General Craig Strong will be the keynote speaker during this year’s program, while cemetery manager Jim Goodwin will recognize all service members interred at the Alliance cemetery.
The St. John’s Brass will perform patriotic music and the Alliance American Legion Post #7 will conduct a rifle salute and play taps.
The program will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Cemetery on County Road 57 southeast of town.
