It was the worst case scenario following the issuance of an Endangered Missing Advisory yesterday for a Scottsbluff man.
On Thursday morning, an alert was issued for 84-year-old Gary Premus, who was believed to have been driving a beige Buick Park Avenue.
Around noon, a resident noticed a vehicle matching the description in Sioux County on S C Road, several miles west of Highway 71.
The Nebraska State Patrol, Mitchell Fire Department and others arrived on scene, and confirmed that Prumus was located deceased inside the vehicle.
The investigation has been turned over to the the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol.
