Seven members of the Future Business Leaders of America club from Lingle-Ft. Laramie High School are raising money to help pay for a trip to the national FBLA conference and competition in late June.

On Saturday, the students are hosting an event at the Lingle Community Park, with kid’s events starting at 11:30 a.m., and Bingo games for adults beginning at 1 p.m.

Madison Gibson, who will be a senior in the next school year, explained to KNEB News club members had to finish in the top four at the state competition to be able to attend the nationals in Orlando. “I’m going as our Wyoming state reporter, and then for everybody else, we have two groups of two kids (each) who are going in partner project events,” said Gibson, “and then we have a young lady going in a testing event, and then we also have another one that is going in a solo project event.”

Tickets priced at one for $5 up to five for $20 will be required for kids’ activities at the fundraiser, which includes crafts, face-painting and a petting zoo.

The bingo games running until 3 p.m. will include game winner and door prizes, and food will be available for purchase as well.
