The Scottsbluff community can let out a sigh of relief, as a 29-year-old person who was reported missing has been located safe and sound.
Jennifer Cervantes had been working a closing shift Saturday night at the Oasis night club on Broadway, but never made it home to the residence she was staying at.
Reports were circulating online that she had been seen around 4 a.m. Sunday at Essential Fuels… and search parties had convened at the Lander Soccer Complex near 42nd Street.
This morning, Scottsbluff Police told KNEB News that Cervantes was located in another jurisdiction, and those officers had physical contact with her and confirmed she was okay.
Early indications revealed that Cervantes just wanted to get away… and that’s why there was little to no communication from her over the past day-and-a-half.
