On Thursday the Scottsbluff girls and boys teams split their doubleheader in Gillette, Wyoming in games against Buffalo WY at Campbell County High School.
The Scottsbluff boys earned a 60-52 win over the Bison as sophomore Rylee Meininger led the way with 16 points while Keon Delgado and Nate Kelley both scored 13. The Scottsbluff boys will play Worland WY this afternoon at 4 pm (no coverage).
The Bearcat girls got beat by Buffalo 77-47 as early foul trouble and a rash of turnovers were major issues. Paige Horne led the team in scoring with all 19 of her points coming in the second half. Scottsbluff will play Worland today at 4 pm and we’ll carry that game on 107.3 The Trail & KHYYfm.com starting with pregame at approximately 3:45 pm.
On Saturday both teams play at 10:30 am and we’ll carry the boys game vs. Cody on The Trail starting with pregame at 10:15 am.
