A 57-year-old Scottsbluff man will be spending the next 20+ years in prison after a jury found him guilty for his role in a 2020 stabbing death.

Gregory Moore stood trial this week in Gering on charges of second degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony for the stabbing death of 23-year-old Fernando Camacho-McBride in November of 2020.

Moore was arrested following the incident that occurred at a downtown Scottsbluff apartment complex.

The jury of twelve women came back with the guilty verdict on both counts during the noon hour Thursday after just under two hours of deliberation.

District Judge Andrea Miller ordered a presentence investigation, and a July 21st sentencing date.

Moore is already to a lengthy prison term after being convicted of brutally attacking his landlord during a March, 2020 incident.
