A trio of felony charges have been filed against a Gering woman accused of running over a man with her vehicle Friday evening.
25-year-old Abigail Moreno is charged with 1st Degree Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
Court documents say Scottsbluff police were dispatched to the intersection of 15th Street and 15th Avenue, and made contact with the victim who was bleeding profusely. Witnesses say a woman, later identified as Moreno, was the driver of the black SUV used in the attack, and officers later found chain-link fence stuck under her vehicle.
She was arraigned on the charges Monday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court.
