The Gering senior legion team is on a roll as they won for the 13th time in their last 15 games on Tuesday, winning at Ogallala 12-6.
Barron Williams a big game as he struck out seven on the mound pitching into the sixth inning for the win and at the plate Williams had a pair of extra base hits and drove in four runs.
Bo Gable had three RBI and Tanner Gartner joined Williams with a multi-hit game.
Gering at WESTCO – Tonight
Tonight it’s a big doubleheader with WESTCO hosting Gering in a junior/senior doubleheader at Cleveland Field starting with B&C Steel taking on the Express at 5 pm.
For the seniors it’ll be the second meeting of the year with Gering winning at home 11-1 back on June 5th.
The Zephyrs come in playing their best ball of the summer having won five straight games including a three game home sweep over the weekend against Bear Creek (CO).
