GERING- The Gering Bulldogs defended their home field and picked up the Bulldog’s fifth win of season by defeating Lexington, 39-21.
Gering quarterback Rece Knight had 235 yards passing with four touchdowns. Running back Creighton Beals racked up 110 yards rushing, including a 71-yard touchdown run. Barron Williams had 106 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Gering improves to 5-2 on the season and will host undefeated Chadron next week at 7 p.m.
