Gering boys end season with District Final loss at Omaha Roncalli

Monday night was the end of the line for the 2023-2024 Gering boys basketball season as the Bulldogs got beat in the B-6 District Final on the road by Omaha Roncalli, 68-48.

A pair of seniors were Gering’s top scorers in the loss with Jackson Howard finishing with 17 points while Uriah Ybarra scored 12.

Brady McGill led all scorers with 23 points for the Crimson Pride.

We had the broadcast for you last night on KMOR 93.3 FM and after the game our own Traeton Harimon caught up with Gering head coach Trey Winkler.

Gering’s season comes to an end with a record of 8-16.

With the win Roncalli advances to the Class B State Tournament next week.
