A scary situation this morning in northwest Scottsbluff as a natural gas leak occurred in the area of the Scotts Bluff Country Club.
Sheriff Mark Overman says the gas line was cut by a construction crew and gas was shut off for residents on Blue Jay Court and Cardinal Drive.
There were no evacuations, but Highway 71 in that area was closed temporarily. The highway re-opened at approximately 10:30 a.m.
