On Tuesday morning Nebraska EDGE Garrett Nelson announced via social media he’ll forgo his final season of eligibility and will declare for the NFL Draft.
The Scottsbluff High School product was a captain this past season for Nebraska and he finished the year with 5.5 sacks, 9 tackles for loss and 65 total tackles. For his Husker career, Nelson finished with 12 sacks, 26 TFL’s, and 167 tackles.
