It’s week four of the high school football season in Nebraska and we’ve got two games tonight on the RRN-Scottsbluff with both Scottsbluff and Gering looking to start the year 4-0.

There is no “Area Game of the Week” on 94.1 The Brand tonight due to the Husker football game.

Seward (3-0) at Scottsbluff (3-0), 107.3 The Trail & KHYYfm.com with pregame at 6:30, kickoff 7 pm

This is one of the top games across the state tonight with a pair of Class B unbeatens squaring off at Bearcat Stadium. After back to back running clock wins the Bearcats are in need of a big game and Seward figures to provide just that.

The Blue Jays are averaging 37 points per game in wins over Gretna East, Waverly, and Lincoln Pius.

Scottsbluff HC Jud Hall gives an overview of Seward

The Bearcats haven’t had to overload their top offensive weapons over the last two weeks as they’ve outscored Lincoln Northwest and Crete 112-6.

Seward HC Jamie Opfer talks about his trying to deal with the physicality of Scottsbluff

Gering (3-0) at Ogallala (1-2), KMOR 93.3 FM & KMORfm.com with pregame at 6:30, kickoff 7 pm

Here go the Gering Bulldogs; going on the road for a game tonight and going for a 4-0 start to the season as they head to Ogallala.

Right now Gering is averaging 40 points per game in wins over Torrington, Mitchell, and last week they beat Alliance 47-12 as they got to 3-0 for the first time since 2012.

Gering HC Danny O’Boyle on where they’ve settle with the identity of their offense for now

Speaking of identity on offense, Ogallala runs an old school double wing formation and they’ve only thrown 18 passes through their first three games.

Ogallala HC Brent Bauer says no secrets with what they’ll look to do tonight on offense
