RRN-Scottsbluff broadcasts tonight
- McCook (4-2) at Scottsbluff (6-1), 107.3 The Trail & KHYYfm.com at 6:30 pm – The Bearcats are coming off a 35 point second half effort in a 41-6 win over Hastings last week while the Bison knocked off Ogallala 14-12 in a game that featured eight total offensive possessions. Scottsbluff enters tonight in fifth place in Class B power points, the Bison are eighth.
- Chadron (7-0) at Gering (5-2), KMOR 93.3 FM & KMORfm.com at 6:30 pm – This is a huge game for both teams in terms of power points and it could come down to how much success Gering has defensively trying to slow down Chadron running back Quinn Bailey, who’s already over 1,900 yards rushing this season with 29 total touchdowns…Gering meanwhile coming off one of their more complete wins of the season according to coach Danny O’Boyle as they knocked off Lexington at home last week.
- Amherst Broncos (4-3) at Mitchell (3-4), 94.1 The Brand & KNEBfm.com at 4:35 pm – Mitchell is coming off their marquee performance of the season as they won on the road last week against previously unbeaten Kearney Catholic 41-38 with head coach Nick Kuxhausen saying they “got it clicking”. That win got the Tigers inside the top 16 in C-2 power points.
