A Kimball man who was arrested following a February standoff has had his felony charges reduced to misdemeanor charges.

On the morning of February 8th, Kimball Police received a report of a Domestic Assault and Terroristic threats. Officers tried to make contact with the suspect, 31-year-old Nicholas King, but he refused to cooperate with law enforcement and locked himself in his home.

Last week in District Court, a Class 3A Felony charge of Terroristic Threats was dismissed, and he is now facing misdemeanor charges of Obstruction and Assault in a Threatening or Menacing Manor.
