A $200,000 bond has been set for a man who crashed his pickup into the 18th Street Plaza Thursday night.
Police say Olsen Sutton of Lincoln drove through the gate, hit a concrete pole and park bench, and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
Sutton tried to attack one of the officers, and multiple empty shooters of booze were found in his truck and on his person.
He’s facing charges including DUI with 2 prior convictions; 3rd Degree Assault on an Officer; Resisting Arrest, and Driving Under Suspension.
A Monday morning preliminary hearing has been set in Scotts Bluff County Court.
