Chancey Williams to play at 2024 Cattlemen’s Ball

Chancey Williams to play at 2024 Cattlemen’s Ball
February 16th, 2024 | News Release

The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska announces country music star Chancey Williams will be joining the Saturday evening entertainment line-up.

Chancey Williams will be playing in the Saloon Tent following the previously announced headliner Collin Raye on Saturday, June 8th.

Saddle Bronc athlete turned neo-traditional country music sensation Chancey Williams has gone from competing on horseback, to performing as a headliner at fairs, festivals, and venues across the country.

As one of only two artists (Chris LeDoux) to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days, and the only singer/songwriter to be endorsed by CINCH®, Williams is the next
authentic cowboy of country music.

Growing up on a ranch in the northeastern corner of Wyoming, Williams is one of the proud few hailing from Moorcroft, WY – a town so small it doesn’t need stoplights. Rodeo, wrestling, and academic talents
took him first to Casper College, and then to the University of Wyoming. Williams earned several degrees, including a Master’s in Public Administration, but it was music and the camaraderie of the road that continued to take him all over the United States.

The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska, a charity whose mission is to raise money for cancer research through an annual fundraiser will take place in rural Scotts Bluff County on June 7th and 8th. The funds raised from the event will be donated to cancer research at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha.
The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska hopes to continue making a positive impact in the fight against cancer and is excited for another successful year. Host Scott Schiff says “We are thrilled to add Chancey to the
entertainment lineup for the ball, attendees are in for a fun filled schedule of events benefiting a great cause.”
