A 4-H Ambassador from Lewisville, Nebraska, was hard at work over the weekend preparing her livestock for the Nebraska State Fair.
Corrine Cavanaugh has been in 4-H since she was in kindergarten and is involved in a number of activities, including showing sheep and cattle.
As a 4-H ambassador, Cavanaugh said she educates and inspires other young people in the organization, and she encourages all 4-H youth to take part in leadership opportunities.
“It’s tiring sometimes, but keep trying,” she said. “It’s gonna be so much fun in the future, and you’re gonna have so many kids that look up to you as you get older.”
