Firefighters continue to battle the Bronco Fire, located 11 miles northwest of Crawford, Nebraska in Sioux County.

Federal, State and Local resources include 110 personnel and multiple air resources, as rough terrain and erratic winds continue to challenge firefighters.

According to officials on scene, the fire had reached 915 acres as of Thursday afternoon and is not fully contained.

The fire is managed under a unified command between Crawford Volunteer Fire Department and the US Forest Service, and will transition from a Type 4 to a Type 3 organization to better support firefighters and resources on the ground.
