You’re invited to join a cast of Theatre West all-stars as they celebrate some of Broadway’s great musical moments this weekend.
Theatre West Summer Repertory will present its annual performance of Broadway in the Bluffs in the Judy Chaloupka Theater on the campus of Western Nebraska Community College on Saturday, March 2. This event is Theatre West’s major fundraiser of the year, featuring local singers performing favorite show tunes with Maren Chaloupka at the piano.
“This year’s program includes songs from favorite Broadway shows you know and like– Hamilton, Spamalot, Guys and Dolls. But the audience will also enjoy numbers from some newer musicals like Next to Normal, Shucked, and Six. This year’s show is going to be a mix of song, scenes, and dance from classic and contemporary favorites,” explains Theatre West Executive Director Judy Chaloupka.
Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $10 for students, and $50 for one household families. The show will start at 7:00 p.m. followed by a reception featuring a decadent chocolate buffet.
