A 41-year old Bridgeport man caught with 16 grams of methamphetamine has been sentenced.

Erick Blake was charged with a Class 1D Felony Charge of Possession of Meth 10-27 grams, and was also facing the Habitual Criminal Enhancement.

However last month in Scotts Bluff County District Court, he pled no contest to an amended charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with full credit for time already served.

The co-defendant in the case, 47-year-old Joni Sheridan of Minatare, has a bench warrant for her arrest after failing to appear to her last scheduled court date.
