The Bridgeport boys basketball team put a dominant performance on the floor at Kearney High School on Saturday afternoon as they ripped the Freeman Falcons 42-23 in the C2-7 District final to advance to the Boys State Tournament two weeks from now.

We had the broadcast on Saturday on KMOR 93.3 FM & KHYYfm.com.

Freshman Landon Dean finished with a team high 11 points while fellow freshman Hayes Watts finished with 10 points in the win.

Bridgeport improved to 21-5 and they qualified for the State Tournament for the 14th time in school history.

With the Saturday win Bridgeport now gets a leg up on rest and preparation for the trip to Lincoln as it was only C2 District Final played on Saturday with the other seven games coming up on either Monday or Tuesday night.
