October 4th, 2024 | Ryan Murphy

A 31-year-old Gering man charged with killing a one-year-old child in March was back in Scotts Bluff County Court last week.

Tyler Green is facing a Class 1B Felony charge of Intentional Child Abuse Resulting in Death. He was arrested on March 13th after his girlfriend’s child was taken to the hospital after sustaining critical injuries, believed to have been caused by Green.

He was back in court last Wednesday and requested a continuance in the case, to which the state did not object. Additionally, his second request to lower his $1 million cash bond was denied once again.

A November 20th pretrial conference was set, with the matter currently slated to go to trial in the December jury term.
