A local middle school administrator has been selected to be the next High School Principal in Bridgeport.
According to Superintendent Chuck Lambert, the BPS Board of Education this week approved the selection of Jason Blanco for the position, which oversees the 7th through 12th grades.
The current Bluffs Middle School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director would assume his new post in August this year, with a starting salary of $105,000 plus benefits.
Blanco was recently recognized as the Middle School AD of the Year by the Nebraska State Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
