A 42-year-old Scottsbluff man who had been facing numerous drug and weapons cases in District Court has pleaded no contest in a consolidated plea deal.
Last week, Richard Stands Jr. was convicted on two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance Near a School, both of which are Class 1D Felonies.
In exchange for the no contest plea, charges of Robbery, Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person were dismissed.
He’ll face a minimum of there years in prison when he’s sentenced on May 19th by Judge Leo Dobrovolny.
