Nearly two pounds of methamphetamine and 1,000 fentanyl pills are off the street following a Wednesday afternoon arrest of a Scottsbluff man.

NSP Troopers learned that Stephen Lockman was heading northbound into Scotts Bluff County, and were able to stop the vehicle he was travelling in near County Road X. Court documents say that 900 grams of suspected meth were found hidden behind the stereo console, and the driver told troopers that Lockman threw a bag containing fentanyl pills out the window when he noticed the patrol car following them.

Bond was set at $145,000 and he’s facing charges including Possession With Intent to Distribute more than 140 grams of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Tampering with Evidence.
