March 20th, 2023 | Ryan Murphy

A murder trial that was slated to begin this morning in Scotts Bluff County has been delayed.

A trial against Gregory Moore, who is accused of fatally stabbing 23-year-old Fernando Camacho- McBride in the Fall of 2020, was scheduled for this week in District Court.

However this morning, District Judge Andrea Miller was informed that Defense Attorney Kelly Breen had a medical issue this morning that will prevent him from participating in the trial at this time.

A request for a continuance was granted, and the court will have a scheduling conference this Friday to set a new trial date.
