Last month Allo announced they had plans to expand their services into Mitchell, and last week the Village of Morrill also learned that the Fiber company looks to begin providing them services as well.

A group of four Allo employees, led by Regional General Manager Clint Schleicher, were on hand for this week’s Board of Trustees meeting to talk about the new services. Trustee Steve Engleman asked Schleicher which services they would be offering for Morrill., and was told it would be fiber TV, internet and phone services.

“And you’ll actually have faster services than Scottsbluff,” added Schleicher. “People will have 2.3 gig internet, we’re only offering one gig in Scottsbluff and Gering today. So newer platform- it will be upgraded later on- but you’ll have faster internet than them.”

Following the presentation, the Board of Trustees approved a Franchise Agreement, which allows Allo to begin moving forward with their Morrill expansion project.
