It took a Scotts Bluff County District Court jury just under an hour and a half to render their verdict in a consolidated domestic assault case.

35-year-old Adric Blanco was arrested in October after hitting his child’s mother in the face six to seven times after the child spilled blueberries on the floor.

On Monday, the jury found him guilty on a Class 3A Felony charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault with prior convictions, and not guilty on charges of 1st Degree False Imprisonment, 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, and Terroristic Threats.

Blanco faces up to three years in prison when he’s back in court on September 27th for sentencing.
