A 30-year-old Scottsbluff man makes his first court appearance today on a charge of 1st Degree Sexual Assault.
Jacob Left Hand was arrested last week after the female victim contacted police to say she was sexually assaulted.
She alleges that she told Left Hand to stop three times during the act, but he continued until he was finished.
Police interviewed him last Thursday at the Public Safety Building, and then arrested him and transported him to the jail in Gering.
Left Hand was scheduled to be arraigned on the charge this afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court.
