William “Bill” Roy Heinz, 76 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport, Nebraska.

Bill was born on May 21, 1948 in Buffalo, New York to William D and Betty Lou (Klemp) Heinz.
He married Marcia Porter on June 20, 1992 in Berthoud, Colorado.
Bill loved to travel, enjoyed Westerns and History.
Bill worked at the Scottsbluff Walmart for over 20 years as the friendly greeter.
Survivors include his wife Marcia; daughter Sheila Lynn (Darren) Pate; grandchildren Katie Pate, Christian Pate, and Brandon Pate; great grandchildren Lillian Rose Pate and Camden James Pate; siblings Carla McKnell, Chris Warhus, Eric Heinz, and Steve Heinz; two aunts and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
