Timothy Bruce Holten, 69, of Gering, Nebraska, entered into rest August 12th, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center. A private memorial service will be held at a date to be determined.
Born July 18th, 1954, in California to Raymond & Mary (Lackey) Holten. Tim spent most of his childhood in California. The family moved back to Nebraska in 1971. Tim was a master tile man by trade. He was a natural with custom tile work. Before he retired due to health issues, Tim was a bus driver at the Tri-City Roadrunner. He enjoyed meeting all the passengers who rode the bus.
Tim had a heart of gold and was always so caring. He was the happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He also enjoyed watching Old Westerns as his father did. One of his favorite vacations spots was visiting the Black Hills with his son Kenny. He was a tattoo enthusiast and was proud to show off his body art.
Survivors include his children, Joy Holten-Moore (Greg Moore) of Austin, Tx; Kimberly (Holten) Cadwell, Porterville, CA, Krystal Holten of Porterville, CA and Kenny Holten (Cierra Garhart) of Scottsbluff, NE. Grandchildren, Makayla, Kayla, Cristian and Kaiden, Siblings, Brother Randy (Barb) Holten of Gering, NE, Sister Cheryl Harms of Ft, Collins Colorado, Nieces and Nephews, Allison Holten-Bernhardt, Bob Harms, Christie Spencer, Kate Courtney, Nick Holten, Rachel Harms, Special Friends, Kevin & Shirley Baptist and Sherman Hyde and many other great-nieces and great-nephews and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Mary Holten, Sister Roxanne Holten, Niece & Great-Niece Melanie & Natalie Conroy, Granddaughter Jasmine Moore, Brother-in-Law Ron Harms.
