Teddy was born January 6, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas.  He lived many places around the world being a part of a military family, but he settled in Scottsbluff.  Teddy worked as an electrician for most of his career at Winkler Electric.  He then went on to work at Western Sugar for more than 20 years, from which he retired.  He was well respected in his field and made many lifelong friends while at work.

He had many passions in life including fishing, hunting, golfing, coin collecting, watching Westerns, and football.   He would be found always rooting for the Huskers and Longhorns.

Most of all, Teddy loved to laugh.  He will forever be remembered with a big smile on his face.   He enjoyed spending time with his family and treasured his children: Ted, Stephanie, and Britny, along with his many grandchildren.   He had a great love of animals, and absolutely spoiled his greatest loves: Precious the Labrador Retriever, Hattie the Springer Spaniel, and Patches the Poodle.

Survivors include his son, Ted (Cherri) Crittenden; daughters, Stephanie (Todd) Lewis and Britny Crittenden; grandchildren, Caleb, Lucas, Hannah, Maricela, and Angelo Crittenden, and Sarah, Caitlyn, and Charlotte Lewis; as well as sisters, Barb (Jack) Hoffman and Vicky (Greg) Podobensky.

He was greeted in Heaven by his parents; brother, Mansel; and granddaughter, Sophia.
