Syrena M Parks, 25 of Bayard, Nebraska died Thursday, December 1, 2022 after a sudden car accident.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Community Bible Church in Bayard with Pastor Bradley Kilthau officiating. Burial will follow at Chimney Rock Cemetery. Syrena was born on January 30, 1997 in Scottsbluff to Jennifer L Parks. She made her home with her son and mom in Bayard.
She was proud to be an assistant manager at Taco Johns in Bridgeport. She loved working hard. She enjoyed and was enjoyed by coworkers and customers alike.
Syrena was a person unlike others. When she entered a room, she filled it. She had a childlike excitement for everything that made her happy. Those things include: Cats- she loved every cat she saw or met, stray or pet; tattoos- she had many and planned for more; people – she made friends everywhere she went; family – she loved and cherished us all but the most special love she had was for her son, Cason. She often said that he was her whole universe.
Survivors include her young son Cason, mom Jennifer, grandma Margie (mamow), grandma Kathy Sides, uncle Mike and aunt Sara and their family Annalise, Jonathan, Aristana, Alyssa and David, uncle Rick and aunt Maria Sides and their family Melinda, Ronnie, Elizabeth and Robert and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her dad Randy Sides, grandpa Ron Sides and grandpa Jim “Papa” Parks.
Syrena’s family has loved her well. They love her still. They’ll love her always.
