Rose Yoko Kubo Yamamoto, age 105, passed away in Thornton, CO. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church in Mitchell with Deaconess Angie Jones officiating. Following the service, attendees are welcome to join the family for lunch.
Rose’s husband Yutaka passed away in 2003, but she is survived by daughters Carol, Allyn, and Sandra, grandson Jevan and granddaughter Adyn, as well as 28 nieces and nephews, 33 great-nieces and -nephews, and 31 great-great nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Rose’s name to Holy Apostles Episcopal Church or the American Red Cross.
