Rose M. Douville, age 69 of Sidney, NE. Rose went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the family in care of Gilbert Douville, Jr. at 504 Prairie Clover Way, Severance, CO 80050.

Rose was born on November 15, 1954 in Scottsbluff to Bernard (Livermont) and Mary (Naegele) and was the oldest daughter and third sibling of five. Rose attended Gering Public Schools and received her GED. She married Gilbert Douville Sr. and had two sons, Gilbert Douville Jr. and Eugene (Geno) Douville. She lived in Lincoln until moving to Omaha and met Hugo Sullivan. They had two children, Kevin and Kayla. She returned to the Scottsbluff / Gering area to be closer to her family. Rose accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord in 1995 and had a strong love for the Lord. She moved to Sidney and acquired many friendships. She loved to landscape, decorate her apartment, cook, and listen to both Christian and oldies music.
Survivors include her sons, Gilbert (Sandra) Douville, Jr., Kevin Sullivan, daughter, Kayla Sullivan (Eric), sisters Kathy (Glenn) Fillinger, Oral Edquist, brother Bill Livermont and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anton and Josephine Hamernik, parents, Bernard Livermont and Mary Lucille Naegele, stepdad John Achey, son, Eugene (Gene) Douville, brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Livermont; sister Charlene Hernandez.; and sister-in-law Terry Livermont.
Rose’s presence will be missed and memories will be cherished.
