Funeral services for Roberta J. (Templar) Green age 76 of Scottsbluff NE, who died October 20th 2022 at Heritage Estates, will be held Monday November 7th 2022 at 2:00 pm The Rock Church 3515 5th Ave Scottsbluff NE, with Pastor Tyson officiating. Funeral service will be live streamed on therockne.com/live. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery. A memorial has been established to The Rock Church Bus Service. She was born June 4th 1946, at Scottsbluff Nebraska, to William and Sue (Gross) Templar and later raised by William and Treva Templar. She received her early education at Gering Public Schools, graduating from Gering High School Class of 1964. She married the love of her life James (Jim) Green on November 19th, 1966. To this union they had 2 children, Jana and Allan. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. They made their home in Scottsbluff NE.
Roberta was very active in Girl Scouts of America, 23 Club Auxiliary and the Women’s Bowling Association where she built many friendships over the years. She spent over 30 years as an in-home daycare provider where every child became one of her own. Jim and Roberta loved to travel. Her life motto was, “Let’s go for a ride.” Jim was always up for any adventure, so we have no doubt they are enjoying this one last ride together.
She is survived by her mother Treva Templar, Daughter Jana (Steve) Mount, son Allan Green, grandchildren Skyler (Amy) Mount, Alexis Green, Spencer Mount, Andrew Mount, Gianni Green and Blake Green, great grandchildren Emma Kuxhausen-Mount, Axton Green and Zoey Mount. Brothers Bill Templar, Jay (Rhonda) Templar, Sisters Pam (Carl) Pedersen, LeAnn (Mike) Grasmick, Karen (Rick) Mortimore and numerous other family members and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Jim. Her parents and her grandson Corey Green, and her in-laws Albert and Florence Green
