Richard George Michal was born 10-9-1935 to Esther and George Michal. He passed on 8-31-2023. Services to be held at a later date.
He completed high school along with some college. He enlisted in United States marines. He married Judith Ann Maser 1-15-1956, they lived in Bayard for 56 years them moved to Horseheads, New York to retire and be with their son and his family. He farmed most of his life and volunteered for many community events in Bayard, Nebraska.
Together they had four children: Julie Brock (Gering), Sally Martinez (San Diego), Joshua Michal (Horseheads NY) and a daughter who died at birth, Dee Ann Michal. They have eight grand kids: Brandon Brock, Kendra Lauruhn, Amber Brock, Michal Martinez, Sara Martinez, Elizabeth Bonilla, Robyn Michal and Lilly Michal. They have been blessed with 11 great grand children: Kinsley and Everley Brock, Brock and Trent Lauruhn, Tatum and Quinn Platt, Elion and Eniya Martinez, Amelia Thorpe, Madeline and sister soon to be here Penelope Bonilla.
He was loved by many and will always be in our hearts.
