Ray DeWayne Fulk, 81, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Chimney Rock Villa in Bayard, Nebraska, with his family by his side.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with Pastor Andy Griess officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff with military honors. Family suggests casual attire worn at service. The casket will be closed, there will be no visitation. Ray was born on September 28, 1942 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Everett & Mary (Thomas) Fulk. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1961. He married Donna L Hintergardt on July 18, 1971 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and had a daughter Anita and a son Jason.

Ray, Donald and Harry owned and operated Fulk Bros. Service in 1962. Ray served in the Army from 1964-1966. Ray worked at Firestone and State of Nebraska Department of Roads.

He was a member of 23 Club Baseball, VFW and American Legion.

Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching baseball and in his later years scratching lottery tickets.

Ray is survived by daughter Anita (Jason) Russell and son Jason (Brenda) Fulk; grandchildren Taylor (Tanner) Wilson Dillon Russell, Katrina Fulk and Keegan Todd; great grandchildren Greyson Fulk and Braelyn Fulk, brothers, Marvin (Linda) Fulk, Roger Fulk (Monte), sister-in-law, Marilyn Fulk, Joyce Fulk, brother-in-law, Vern Hintergardt, George Hintergardt, Leroy Bernhardt, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, his parents, Everett & Mary Fulk, brothers; Everett “Jr” Fulk, Robert Lee Fulk, Lee Robert Fulk, Lester (Twila) Fulk, Don Fulk and Harry Fulk, sisters; Norma (Albert) Hoff and Gloria Jenkins, sister-in-law, Patrica Bernhardt and Carolyn Hintergardt.
