Pamela Jean Fornander was born October 16, 1954, to Paul and Jean Edge (Ranum) in Darlington Wisconsin. She cherished her early years in Wisconsin with her family and Grandma and Grandpa Ranum. She then moved to Julesburg CO and attended elementary school and two years of high school, before moving with her family to Chappell NE, where she finished her high school career. She attended Hastings Community College for one year. She married Lyndon Fornander on June 26, 1976, at Berea Lutheran church. Pam and Lyndon made their home Northeast of Oshkosh. Kyle Adam arrived on August 25, 1977, and Seain August completed the family on August 28, 1980. Pam had many responsibilities from helping people all over the county to tending to the family ranch. Along with the herd of cattle, Pam had her herd of animals that she brought home from the animal shelter. Pam was also known for her cooking and baking as she was known for making amazing branding meals and bringing meals to the field. Pam was a master at making sure everyone was fed even if it was not planned and she just had to “Whip Something Up”.

There was no question how big Pam’s heart was. No matter who or where any person came from, would welcome them with open arms. Pam loved feeding birds and planting flowers in front of her house, her favorites being roses and lilies. On her spare time, she would most likely be reading or having a sit and talk with anyone who walked through the door. No matter where Pam was or what she was doing, she was guaranteed to have one of her “fur babies” by her side. Throughout the years, she took home four dogs from the animal shelter, Percy, Rusty, Cooper, and BB. She also enjoyed supporting her “grand babes” in whatever they chose to do. She attended countless recitals, games, science fairs, and cattle shows.

Pam was always up for any adventure, whether it be a planned or unplanned road trip, hockey game, sky diving, camping trip, or any adventure that could turn into something meaningful that would create a memory.

Pam’s Family would also like to send out a special thank you to Hospice of the Plains for the extra special care they gave in the last few months they are some extra special people.
