Pamela (Pam) was born August 21, 1964, in Scottsbluff, NE to Cecil Leroy and Mary Lois (Adams) Hinman. She received her early education at Bryant Elementary and later graduated from Scottsbluff High School with the class of 1983. Following graduation Pam chose to enter the workforce; she would later return to school and receive an associate degree. She always enjoyed customer service and held various jobs in that industry throughout her career until disease progression rendered her unable to work.

Pam married the love of her life Daniel Lee Peterson on January 26, 1985, in Scottsbluff, NE and they welcomed their first daughter Kristina in 1986. In 1991, a son Anders was born, in 1993 a son Tyrus and in 1996 they welcomed their youngest child, a daughter Marissa. Her greatest joy was her family, and she would proudly boast about all her children and grandchildren. There was never a birthday or holiday she missed and had something for each one from Halloween to Christmas. Pam was always her kids/grandkids biggest supporter and cheerleader.

Pam was a kind, thoughtful, gentle soul and always there when anyone needed her. While her own children were growing up Pam and her husband Dan became foster parents and helped many individuals during this time. After being diagnosed with endometrial cancer in March of 2020 Pam never stopped fighting, she showed each one of us what true resilience, perseverance and strength is. Pam touched an endless number of lives throughout her short time here on this earth. Though we will miss her greatly we are thankful she is no longer in pain. She will always be in a part of each of us, shared in our memories and forever loved.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband Daniel of 38 years; daughter Kristina (Josh) Ojeda of Scottsbluff; son Anders (Madison) Peterson of Morrill; son Tyrus Peterson of Mitchell and daughter Marissa (James Willey) Peterson of Mitchell; seven grandchildren Jaelyn, Gabriella, Paisley, and Bailee Ojeda of Scottsbluff, Theia and Asher Peterson of Morrill, and Jozalyn Willey of Mitchell; brothers Robert Stafford of Florida, Ronald Hinman of Lincoln, NE, and Curtis Hinman; mother-in-law Joyce Peterson of Gering; brothers-in-law Gene (Becky) Peterson of Gering, David Peterson of Scottsbluff, Mike (Shawna) Peterson of Gering, NE; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Xavier Ojeda, brother Michael Hinman, brother James Stafford, sister Debra Kennedy, father-in-law Carl Peterson Jr. and nephew Glen Schnell.
