Nancy Ann Delgado Moody, 77, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away on June 19, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center. Per Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life service will take place on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Gering Memorial Chapel. She was born on August 30, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. She married Duane Moody on May 17th, 1981 in Los Vegas, Nevada, making their home in Gering Nebraska.
Nancy was known for her talent as a cooking. She shared that talent in the kitchens of Panhandle Main Street Market aka Co-Op, Safeway, and Wel-Life Assisted Living. She was also knows by her family for her amazing pork chili and chicken tacos.
Her husband, Duane; son, Christopher Moody; daughter, Leslie (Cliff) Holman; stepdaughter, Jasmine Beck; Sisters Toni (Bobby) Kahn and Louise Gaiser; nieces and nephew, Sarah, Jamal, and Alicia survive Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Calderon; brother, Robert Calderon; and mother-in-law, Clara Moody.
