Margaret Ann Misner, 88 years of age, passed on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 in the early morning hours.
Margaret was born on November 11th, 1933 in Fullerton, NE to the late Ernst Horst and Hattie (Ferrichs) Horst and was the second youngest of 11 children. She moved to Gering, NE to live with her sister, Phyllis, while attending high school.
Margaret met Keith Marvin Misner and they married on September 15th, 1951. They were blessed with four children. Margaret enjoyed working and being around others. She worked for several companies including Bell Telephone as an operator, Regional West in the billing department, as well Bailey’s Town and Country as a supervisor and checker, and COOP as a checker as well. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in several service positions within her church. She was always willing to help and serve others.
Margaret loved to shop and find a good bargain. She always enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball and the Broncos. More than anything, Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family. She was proceeded in death by her brothers and sisters and her husband, Keith (d. 2004).
Margaret is survived by her four children: Timothy, Pamela, Michael, and Kevin. She also leaves behind 10 cherished and loved grandchildren (Shawn, Brooke, Kara, Tiffany, Erica, Jillee, Aaron, Jessica, Kayla, and David) and 13 great grandchildren.
A grave side service will be held on Monday, August 29th, at 11am at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. A visitation will be Sunday, August 28 from 5-7 pm at Gering Memorial Chapel. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.geringchapel.com.
