Madison was known by many nicknames: Madman, Maddy, and MJ, to name a few. He was kind, polite, and a positive presence wherever he went. He used his life experiences to encourage and lift up others and was always ready with a hug. His delightful smile and matching dimples brightened the day of anyone who encountered him. He was giving and selfless. When someone was in need, he was the first to lend a hand and would do all he could to be of help. He showed up for others without fail.

Madison was a fantastic uncle. He was supportive and proud and always wanted to show his love through some playful roughhousing. He was kind-hearted and caring, exemplified by the many animals he found and fostered/adopted throughout his life. Any living creature’s life was made better by crossing his path.

Experiencing the open road on his motorcycle was his passion. His face and voice would light up with excitement when discussing his riding plans. The change in weather brought new adventures for him. He also loved to play video games, walk his dogs, and hang out with friends. Those who knew him, know he lived his life on a schedule. When it was time to feed the dogs, he had to go.

Madison found his work family with Aulick Industries. He fit right in with the crew and really found his rhythm. He learned he was a quick study and could be taught almost anything. He was smart and skillful with his hands and greatly enjoyed learning new things. His work ethic was unmatched. He knew what needed to be done before being asked and was relied on.

He will deeply and forever be missed by his parents, Craig and Sherri Hicks; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey and Isaac Gonzales; nephew, XayVian Gonzales; grandma, Karen Dormann; grandpa and grandma, Bill and Karen Hicks; uncles, Darian (Sheila) Dormann, Brad (Robyn) Hicks, and Todd (Amee) Hicks; aunts, Shelley LaMore and Sonja (Rick) Lind; numerous cousins; special friends, Wilma, Doug and Jenn (Ma), Tara (Ashton, Ryan, and Braylee); and his two beloved dogs, Oakley and Kida.

He was welcomed into heaven with a big hug by grandpa, Harlin Dormann; uncle, Jon LaMore, and his first loyal companion, Marlee
