Lynn Walter Wright, age 68, of Minatare, Nebraska, passed away September 2, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff after a long illness.
He was born November 3, 1954 in Boulder, Colorado, the son of Clarence and Florence Wright. Lynn was united in marriage to Phyllis Echols on November 27, 1976, and they had almost 48 wonderful years together. He was employed at Western Disposal in Boulder Colorado until the family relocated to Morrill, Nebraska in 1998, where Lynn was on a working farm and employed at Pathfinder Irrigation. When they moved to Minatare, he was the owner of Dusty Rose Bar and Grill until his retirement.
Lynn enjoyed elk hunting in Colorado, and fished in both Colorado and Nebraska.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers “Porky” Robert Jack Wright and Jimmy Wright; and sisters, “Margie” Margarete Brungaudt and Joan Gladwell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; his daughter, Jamie Wright of Minatare; son, Colby Wright of Henry, Nebraska; sister, Barbra Gerbitz of Loveland, Colorado; sister, Judy Hartnagle of Erie, Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in spring of 2024.
