Kevin Richmond, age 63, of Lyman, Nebraska, passed away on September 29, 2023 at Regional West Medical Center after a difficult battle with Parkinson’s disease. A memorial service for Kevin will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Kevin was born on February 10, 1960, in Redfield, South Dakota, to Duane and Sharon (Shantz) Richmond, and he received his early education in the Redfield schools, graduating in 1978. He attended Mitchell Technical College, graduating in 1979. Kevin was united in marriage to Tammra Lackey on December 4, 1981 in Custer, South Dakota, and they made their home in Hot Springs. After moving to the Panhandle, he worked as a foreman for Pathfinder Irrigation. Fishing and hunting were some of Kevin’s passions. He was a very hardworking man who always did the most he could in order to provide for his family. He will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife, Tammra; mother, Sharon Richmond; children, Derek and Lindsay; and grandchildren, Averilo, Dayson, and Dominic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Richmond.
