Kary Lea Holliday, 38, passed away on September 3rd, 2023, at Regional West Medical Center with loved ones at her side.
Kary was born to Brent and Marge (Colgrove) Holliday on January 26th, 1985 in Scottsbluff Nebraska. She attended Community Christian School through 8th grade and was involved in several play productions and served as the CCS Eagles school mascot. She also attended Scottsbluff High school.
Kary loved animals passionately and spent time in her teenage years volunteering at the Scottsbluff Humane Society as well the Riverside Discovery Center. Many knew Kary as someone who loved all animals, but especially adored dogs, specifically the Pug breed. When she was 4, she informed her parents she would like to have her name “legally changed to Kary Dog Holliday” She raised several loyal pug companions throughout her lifetime.
Many who knew Kary would describe her as having a big heart, who was willing to help a friend and a person with a very unique sense of humor. She enjoyed creating YouTube videos and sharing music with friends and family.
Kary is survived by her parents, Brent & Susan Holliday of Steamboat Springs Co, Marjorie Holliday of Gering Ne; siblings, Phillip Holliday (Sara) of Gering, Mindy (Jessica) Holliday of Des Moines, Iowa, Braely Holliday of Steamboat Springs Co, Ty Romey of Lincoln Ne, and Kayla Romey of Ventura Ca; niece and nephew, Brooklyn and Richard Holliday as well many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Dick & Jean Holliday and George & Pearl Colgrove.
