Judy Louise Schleuning, age 80 passed away October 26th, 2023. Judy’s wishes were to be cremated and per her wishes there will be no service.
Judy was born in Dodge City, Kansas on June 28th, 1943, to Dub and Jane Gross. Judy married Bill Schleuning February 1960. Together they welcomed a son Billy Jr Schleuning January 4th, 1961. They later divorced in 1981. Judy worked at GW Sugar for 14 years and later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she worked and retired from Proctor and Gamble in 2000. Judy then moved back to Gering to be closer to her family.
Judy is survived by her daughter in law, Rhonda Schleuning; grandsons, Jacob (Amber) Schleuning and Jerrad Schleuning; Brother Larry (Sue) Gross; Brother Will Covalt; and special sisters-in-law Rita Stroud and Dee Covalt; Nephew Jeremy Gross, many more nieces and nephews and great grandchildren Bayleigh, Rylee and Dawson.
She was preceded in death by son Billy Schleuning Jr.; Father, Deb (George) Gross; Mother, Jane Gibbons Covalt; Brother, Noble Gross and Brother, Robert Gross.
