Joyce E Deines, 82 passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Mitchell Care Center in Mitchell, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fiet officiating. Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com.
Joyce was born on January 16, 1941 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Elinor (Nelson) and Fritz Deines. She graduated from Hastings College. She had an extraordinary beautiful singing voice and received a scholarship to The Manhattan School of Music. She moved to New York to attend the school, and lived there for many years. She sang in churches and other events, and was so well received due to her talented singing abilities. She also graduated from an ordained minister at the Massapequa Church in Long Island, NY, and preached and sang in many places.
After many years in New York, she returned home to Scottsbluff to care for her mother. She always sacrificed her life for others, as Jesus did. There was no problem or issue that was too small or too big for her, in helping others. She always had a word from Jesus for all of them.
Joyce spent most of her life ministering and singing to others. Many lives were healed and set free from bondages through her prophetic ministries. She also took piano lessons and excelled at learning. It was a special treat for people to listen to her singing and playing.
Joyce will be greatly missed by her Family and Friends. But, we will all see her again in Heaven, where she now joyfully resides. She had accepted Jesus as her Saviour at a young age, and may others come to know Him through the life she lived.
She is survived by her sisters Judy Bailey of Greenwood Lake, NY and Jerre Smith of Boulder, CO; nieces Heidi Santano of FL and Heather Fitzpatrick of FL and nephew David Bailey of NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
