Joseph (Joe) John Blundell, 56, born November 26, 1966, passed away on August 22, 2023 in Loveland, CO.
Joe was born in Lincoln, NE to parents George and Judy Blundell. The Blundell family moved to Scottsbluff, NE in 1974. He graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1985, where he excelled in football and track. He continued his education at the University of Wyoming where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1990 and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Joe was an assistant manager at Menard’s in Omaha, NE & Rapid City, SD. He moved to Colorado in 2015 and worked as a Sales Specialist for construction supply companies.
Throughout the years, Joe was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating, and especially bird hunting with his two beloved chocolate labs, Abby and Nellie.
He is survived by his parents, George and Judy Blundell of Windsor, CO; his two brothers, Mike Blundell (Kristin) of Loveland, CO and Steve Blundell of Edmond, OK; Niece and nephew, Emma and Zach Blundell of Loveland, CO; Aunt Jean Brooks of Warminster, PA, Uncle Jack Johnson (Pam) of Elkhorn, NE, Uncle Milt Holmgrain of Litchfield, IL, Uncle Orv Dau of Chadron, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by brother Scott Blundell; Grandparents Joe and Dorothy Blundell and Jack and Florence Johnson; Aunt Marlene Blundell, Uncle Tom Blundell, Aunt Betty Reed, Aunt Marie Holmgrain, Aunt Judy Dau, and Aunt Jan Blundell.
Cremation has been conducted. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
